First day of the year in Delhi with training morning session. Fog, pollution and temperature around 4 degrees Celsius

Still in the first week we moved to Northeast Índia to play I-League matches. We started by the state of Manipur, having playing against Neroca’s team in the capital – Imphal. The particularity of this game was having been witnessed by 35.000 spectators.

Then we flew to other state of Northeast: Assam . We land in the capital Guwaiti. Another 4 hours by bus and we arrived in Shillong, a town situated in on the mountains to play against the local team. Very cold and very difficult logistics on this region.

From Guwaiti we took a flight to Bengaluru and then another flight to a city called Khozikhode (or Calicut) in the state of Kerala, to play our 3rd match in only 9 days. The interest historical fact of this city, is to have been here at the beach of Kappad (locally know as Kappakadavu), that Vasco da Gama touched on Indian soil on May 20,1498.
This smell of Portugal brought us a good energy and we achieved the first victory on a away match at the Indian I League!!

…and to end this troubled and busy month of January, I still made a trip to the Tamil Nadu state, where the team went to play against Chennai City.
Together with the team, we went on a discovery journey at the Lord Shiva’s latest sculpture in a huge meditation park: Isha Foundation, dedicated to raising human consciousness and fosters global harmony trough individual transformation. Excellent place of peace and good energies.
